Delta C Dynamics, LLC is a proud contributor to the Planetary Society LIFE Experiment: Phobos Project. The LIFE Experiment Project, piggy-backing on the Russian spacecraft Grunt-Phobos, is designed to test the feasibility and survivability of microbes during long term deep space missions. Our Laser marking process was utilized for identifying the individual titanium biomodules in which a number microbes will be secured. The Russian spacecraft is set to launch in 2009 on a three year round trip mission to Phobos where soil samples will be stored and returned to the Earth in 2013.
